Stan's letters home to the WORLD tell the story of a young man who shares his fears, hopes and dreams with all of us. He was and is a true American hero and his sister has done a great job bringing this to the reader. Everything in the book is real and true. I was fortunate to have served with Stan in Charlie Company and continue to miss him.
