Tribute to a colleague and friend. |

My good friend and colleague, Kurt Harder lost his battle with cancer a few weeks ago. Kurt was a wonderful teacher who inspired his students with creative and stimulating methods of instruction. He thought nothing of dressing up as a historical character to bring history alive for his students.
As a friend he was witty, candid, and caring. He used my book in his classes to teach not only about the Vietnam War, but the sixties and the impact that era had on our country and the families left to grieve their loved ones.
We feel deeply the loss of our friend but are grateful and blessed to have known Kurt Harder. |
